What do I do if my TD Credit Card is lost or stolen?

If you have misplaced your TD Credit Card and there’s a chance you may find it later, you should lock it to avoid any unauthorized transactions.

To report your TD Credit Card lost or stolen via the TD Bank app (Android or iOS) or Online Banking:

  1. Open the TD Bank app or Online Banking site and log in to your account
  2. Navigate to your Credit Card account
  3. Select Manage Card, then choose the Lost card or Stolen card option from the list
  4. Select the card you would like to report
  5. Choose Request a card to have a new Credit Card sent to your address.

If you suspect any fraudulent activity on your Credit Card account and you need to dispute unauthorized transactions, call 1-888-561-8861. First Class Visa Signature Card users can call 1-877-GO-TD1ST (1-877-468-3178).

With Visa's Zero Liability Policy, you will not be liable for unauthorized purchases made online or for signature-based transactions at merchants. Visa’s Zero Liability Policy does not apply to certain commercial cards and anonymous prepaid card transactions, or transactions not processed by Visa.

What happens next?

We will cancel your current Credit Card and send you a new one within 7-10 business days. If you have set up recurring transactions with other merchants using your current card, you’ll need to update your billing information with them, as not all recurring charges will be transferred to your new account automatically. If you are enrolled in Recurring Payments, you’ll need to manually add the new card when it arrives.
