To request a stop payment on a check you've written:

  • Log in to Online or Mobile Banking
  • Go to Secure Messages
  • Create a new secure message to send
  • Select "Stop a payment" from the menu and fill in the information

To stop payment on a scheduled transfer:

  • Log in to Online or Mobile Banking
  • Go to "Transfers"
  • Find the scheduled item to view its details
  • Select "Stop" (there is no fee to cancel a transfer this way)

To stop a scheduled Bill Payment:

  • Log in to Online or Mobile Banking
  • Go to "Bill Pay"
  • View the scheduled item, and cancel it

There may be cases where Bill Pay informs you it's too close to the payment date to cancel.
