Where and how can I use Google Pay to pay in a store, online or within apps?

Using Google Pay in Stores

You can use Google Pay™ with your compatible Android device to pay in stores that accept contactless payments. Look for one of these symbols at checkout:

The images above show the contactless and Google Pay icons that appear where contactless payments are accepted.

Some stores might have these symbols on their card readers and point of sale terminals, but they might not be currently set up to accept contactless payments including Google Pay.

When you're ready to pay in a store, unlock your phone. Hold your phone near the contactless card reader, follow any prompts and wait for a confirmation. That's it!

Using Good Pay Online and within Apps

With a compatible Android device, you can use Google Pay to pay online and within apps when you see the “Buy with Google Pay” or “Google Pay" button as a payment method.
